For those of you like me, who love everything that is Mike Ness, you’ll be glad to know that album number seven for SD will come out this year on Epitaph Records. It has been awhile, as their last album Sex, Love and Rock N’ Roll was released six years ago. I wasn’t really turned on by Sex, Love as it was too much on the soft, gentle side of mean Mike. I guess one can’t be angry forever.

Hopefully this new one is a return to the more raunchier, greasy days of Prison Bound, and my personal favorite Somewhere Between. If not, I’ll still go see them live, as Social Distortion always put on an amazing show. Mike Ness….a true legend, and still going strong.
