Dave Ellefson back in Megadeth….

This is good news in the Megadeth camp. James Lomenzo is out and Dave Ellefson is back in. No longer will I refer to the band as the Dave Mustaine Project. I have seen Megadeth twice since Ellefson left and it was just not the same. With so many guitarists and drummers leaving since 1987, Mustaine along with Ellefson were the original core members. Ellefson’s bass sound was very distinct and an integral part of the Megadeth sound.
It’s nostalgic also for me as Peace Sells But Who’s Buying was one of the first cassette tapes I purchased back in 1987 and Dave Ellefson was my fave Megadeth member back then (kinda like someones fave KISS member). Considering Mustaines track record, Im not sure how long this will last, but hopefully long enough for me to catch the line up live at least once. As for James Lomenzo???…maybe he can go back and join White Lion as Mike Tramp is milking that one to the ground.
